POLKTON - Mrs. Ada Taylor Wright, 93, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Hopewell United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul McClure officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. Ada was born July 26, 1919 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Benjamin F. and Nolie Walters Taylor. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. Surviving are her children, Becky Allen, Sybile (Earl) Williams, Faye (James) Yates and Truett (Michele) Wright all of Polkton, Peggy (Tony) Hildreth and Phyllis (Wayne) Pope both of Ansonville; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Park Wright and by her siblings.
