Agnes Oliver Sessions

OCEAN ISLE BEACH - Mrs. Agnes Oliver Sessions, 76, of Ocean Isle Beach and Wadesboro, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at her home. Services will be 2:00pm Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Anson Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Randy Bishop officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Agnes was born August 3, 1940 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Ellis Oliver and the late Minnie Mae Mollie Morton Oliver. She and her husband were owners and operators of Sessions Bark and Trucking and other business ventures. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Samuel D. Sessions of the home; her son, Samuel D. Sessions, Jr. of the home; her brother and sisters, Lester Oliver and Fannie Griffin both of Wadesboro and Sarah Polston of Laurinburg; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jewell and Jack Jones of Wadesboro and a dear friend and neighbor, Suzanne Pierce of Ocean Isle Beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Esther Blalock, Rosa Gilmore, Eunice Burr and Arlene Lisk. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crippled Childrens Foundation, 2019 4th Ave N #101, Birmingham, AL 35203. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
