Allen Ingram Moore

Wadesboro - Mr. Allen Ingram Moore, 74, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Carolinas HealthCare Systems Anson. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Helms officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Allen was born in Anson County on June 4, 1942, a son of the late Claude Allen and Sarah Cornelia Ingram Moore. He was a retired poultry farmer but continued his farming ways with a huge garden he enjoyed tending annually. Allen also proudly served in the US Army Reserves for a number of years. He was married to the late Connie Oakley Moore. Survivors include his son, Scott Moore (Rebecca) of Elkin; two grandchildren, Lane Moore and Brooke Moore of Elkin; a brother, Billy Moore of Wadesboro; and a sister, Dianne Rorie (Ronnie) of Talbot, TN.
