Allen Warren Tub Morris

Mr. Allen Warren 'Tub' Morris, 67, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, November 27, 2011 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Perko officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday. He was born March 3, 1944 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Matthew Julian and Myrtle Lee Baker Morris. He was retired form Bloomsburg Mills in Monroe. Surviving are his children, David Allen (Lisa England) Morris of Rockingham and Tracey (Carlos) Hernandez of Brandon, FL; his sisters, Lucy (Wayne) Chavis of Cheraw, SC and Mary Jeanette Hough of Wadesboro; and his faithful dog 'Cookie'. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mettie Lee Smith Morris; by an infant daughter; by his brothers, Matthew Julian Morris, Raymond Rushing Morris and John William Morris and by his dog, Little Bit.
