WADESBORO - Mrs. Amy Austin James, 70, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Autumn Care of Marshville.
Amy was born March 25, 1945 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Otto Elmen Austin and the late Mary Frances Scarboro Austin. She was retired from B.C. Moore and Sons Business Office and later worked part-time with Dollar Tree.
Surviving are her children, R. J. (Carrie) James, Jr. of Polkton and Melinda James of Cleveland, TN; her grandchildren, Ashley, Josie, Kimmie and Tabitha; her great-grandchildren, Lillian and Sean; her sister, Radelle Hough of Wadesboro; her nephews, Shane Hough of Wadesboro; her great-nephew, Chris Hough of Wadesboro and her great-great-nephew, Jackson Hough of Wadesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. James and sister, Arlene Bennett.
At Amy's request, she will be cremated with no services.
