WADESBORO – On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Mrs. Angela Lett McCormick, 73, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home.
Angie was born January 12, 1951, in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late Dewey Hubert Lett and the late Mary Earlene Turner Lett. She was a graduate of Bowman High School and earned an associate degree from Richmond Community College.
She worked for many years in sales with Coffing Hoists in Wadesboro.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her children, Robbie McCormick of Polkton, Shane McCormick (Jennifer) of Polkton and Pam Ratliff (Bryan) of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Brandon Ratliff (Allison Simpson), Noah Ratliff, Dylan McCormick and Colin McCormick; her great-granddaughter, Madelyn Ratliff; her brother, Steve Lett (Margaret) of Wadesboro; her faithful companion, BoBo her dog; her nieces and nephew, Maureen Lett of Wadesboro, Stephanie Phifer (Chad) of Marshville, Mark Lett of Charleston, SC and Joanna Overgaard (Adam) of Waxhaw and her great-nephew, Ian Overgaard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Luke Ratliff and her brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Kim Lett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Anson County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 828, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
It was her request to be cremated with no services.
