LANCASTER, SC - On Friday, December 6, 2024, Mrs. Anna Morton Asbill, 71, formerly of Montgomery and Anson Counties, passed away peacefully at her home.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2024, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Caulder officiating.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Anna was born July 4, 1953, in Montgomery County, NC, and was a daughter of the late Charles Morton and the late Viola Johnson Morton. She grew up in Anson County and graduated from Bowman High School. Her career life was that of medical billing with home health care agencies.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kimberly Clark Sanders, and husband, Clayton of Lancaster, SC; her grandchildren, Rachael Lee Miller and husband, Tyler of California and Christopher Alan Day and wife, Abigail of Rock Hill, SC; her great-grandchild, Bowie August Miller; her sister, Jane Morton Gilmore, and husband, Mack of Marshville and her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leach "R.L." Asbill, and by her sister, Sue Leonard.
