WADESBORO Miss April Shennelle Smith, 41, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe, NC. There will be a memorial service at 4:00pm Friday, August 24, 2018 at Faith Christian Center, 84 Flat Rock Road, Wadesboro. April was born January 15, 1977 in Anson County, NC a daughter of Betty Jean Smith and the late Lawrence Lonnie Smith. She was a graduate of Anson High School. Surviving are her mother, Betty Jean Smith of Wadesboro; her daughters, Anaya Smith of Durham, Miranda Smith and Ariel Smith both of Wadesboro; her granddaughter, Ze"Mira Smith of Wadesboro; her brothers and sisters, Jeffrey Smith and wife, Samantha of Wadesboro, Kisha Medley, Quisha Medley and Cornelius "Pep" Medley all of Wadesboro; her nieces and nephews, Sierra Smith, Aaliyah McNair, Brittany Bennett, Daniel Smith, Tyquan Smith, Tharianna Medley and Tharee Medley and their families; her aunts and uncles, Mary Frances McNair, J.C. Smith, and Tommy Dale Smith, and wife, Antoinette all of Greensboro, Robert Lee Smith of Lancaster, SC, Tim Smith, Bessie Sturdivant and Early Mae Smith all of Charlotte and Annie Louse King of Rock Hill, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
