Barbara Miss Edwards

Wadesboro - Miss Barbara Ann Edwards, 70, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Meadowview Assisted Living. Graveside services will 11:00AM Saturday, March 12, 2016, in the Olive Branch Cemetery on Hwy 218 in Marshville, NC. The family will greet friends following the service. Barbara was born in Union County on October 7, 1945, a daughter of the late Martin Bunyan and Betty Gaddy Edwards. For most of her life, Barbara lived simply at home with her parents. Following their deaths, she eventually found a loving home at Meadowview Assisted Living where she and her many baby dolls lived happily for the past eight years. Barbara was a prolific crocheter having made countless baby outfits, booties and blankets for friends and family. Survivors include her cousins and one special aunt, Lib Edwards of Peachland, NC.
