WADESBORO - Mrs. Beatrice 'Pete' Lett Williams, 85, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Services will be 4:00pm Thursday, September 3, 2015 by the graveside in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service and other times at the home. Pete was born September 22, 1929 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Early Walker Lett and the late Sally Boan Lett. She was retired from Wansonoa in Wadesboro. Surviving are her son, Buddy Williams of Wadesboro and her sister, Dot Howell of Polkton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burcheal Williams and brothers and sisters, Early Lett, Dewey Lett, Imer Fowler, Mazilee 'Poss' Tucker, Marie Hartsell, Lillian Cranford, Katherine Atkinson and Katie Dawkins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 N US HWY 1, Rockingham, NC 28379. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
