Bettie Gulledge Mrs. Boling

LILESVILLE - Mrs. Bettie Gulledge Boling, 70, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at Anson Community Hospital in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Lilesville United Methodist Church with Rev. Norm Jones and Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Lilesville Cemetery. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro and other times at the home. Bettie was born in Anson County, NC October 13, 1941 a daughter of the late John William and Beatrice Quick Gulledge. She has been employed for 32 years with Martin Furniture Company in Wadesboro and was a life-long member of Lilesville United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Randy Boling of the home; her children, Maria (Clay) Allen of Rockingham, Angie Adams and Connie (Ricky) Knotts both of Lilesville and Tim (Carolann) Boling of Lexington; her grandchildren, Joey Santana, Beth Shepard, Max Griffin, Carl Knotts, Larry Adams, II, Lewis Adams, Angela Adams and Jacob Boling; her great-grandchildren, Savanna Knotts and Elijah and Aniston Shepard; her sister and brother, Patsy (Cleveland) Jordan of Wadesboro and Vance (Pat) Gulledge of Lilesville and her sister-in-law, Nancy Gulledge of Lilesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Gulledge. Bettie will always be remembered as a loving and devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Many lives have been touched through her long career at Martin Furniture and her thoughtfulness throughout the years. She loved angels and her family takes comfort in knowing she is one now and has been reunited with many loved ones and friends who have gone on before her.
