WADESBORO - Mrs. Betty Ann Burr Deges, 52, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, August 20, 2013 by the graveside in Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Burr officiating. The family will greet friends 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, August 19, 2013 at Leavitt Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother. Betty Ann was born September 25, 1960 in Anson County, NC a daughter of Dolly Mauldin Burr and the late Andrew Jackson Burr. She had worked at the Rockingham Post Office and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Surviving are her sons, Jason (Edyta) Deges of Omaha, NE and Jeremy (Jennifer Ratliff) Deges of Wadesboro; her granddaughter, Olivia; her mother, Dolly Burr of Wadesboro and her brothers, Gary (Peggy) Burr of Wadesboro and Casey (Linda) Burr of Georgetown, SC.
