MT. GILEAD - Mr. Bobby Rydell 'Big Will' Gould, 49, died Monday, June 9, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. There will be a memorial service will be 11:00AM Saturday, June 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. The family will greet friends following the service. He was born December 9, 1964 in Richmond County, NC a son of the late Hattie Rose Gould and the late Henry Junior Smith. He was a long-time employee with Rebel Lumber Company in Marshville and later worked at McRae Shoe Factory in Wadeville. Surviving are his brother, Robert (Emma) Gould of Candor; his sister, Regina (Franklin) Akins of Aberdeen; his God-Parents, Catherine and Eli Gould of Mt. Gilead; his God-sisters and brothers, Barbara Gould Johnson, Annie Gould, Sharon Collins, Lillie Mae Gould, Linda Gould, Patricia Gould, Dorrian Ingram, William Gould, Dallas Gould, Walter Gould, and James Gould; his nieces, Lashonda Gould, Samantha Gould, Tasha Liles, Tonya Sturdivant; his nephews, Keary Gould, Walter Spinks, Robert Gould, Jr., Dewayne Gould, Tyrone Little, Donnie Meritte, Jr. and Jaymar Spencer; a special family friend, Jimmy Chandler and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Boggan. The family would like to thank the physicians and staff at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte for their wonderful care and concern for Bobby while he was a patient there.
