Wadesboro - Mr. Bobby Van Tyson, Jr., 47, died Saturday, February 3, 2018. Funeral services will be 5:00pm Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Williams officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Bobby was born January 10, 1971 in Anson County, NC and was a son of Bobby Van Tyson and Peggy Deese Tyson. Prior to declining health, he was employed with Triangle Brick in Wadesboro. Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Tyson Gordon of Rockingham; his grandchildren, Kynlee and Kamara; his mother, Peggy Tyson of Wadesboro; his father, Bobby Tyson (Mildred Stegall) of Wadesboro; his brothers, Michael Timothy Tyson (Christy) of Boiling Springs Lake, Daryl Steven Tyson and William Nunnally both of Wadesboro; his sister, Wanda Deese Carpenter (Michal) of Wadesboro and his nieces and nephews and their families.
