Boyce Lee Smith

The obituary is being shared as a courtesy to the Smith family. Boyce Lee Smith, age 81, of Franklinville died Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Kindred Hospital, Greensboro. Mr. Smith was born July 26, 1938 in Anson County to James and Esther Smith. He was a US Air Force veteran and owner of B & L Electric. Mr. Smith loved bowling and hunting. He also enjoyed working in his garden and traveling with his family. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Brooks Smith; 2 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by sons, Scott Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC, Barry Smith of Franklinville, daughter, Jahala Julian and husband Michael of Franklinville; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Community Baptist Church Cemetery in Lexington. Visitation will follow at the graveside. The family requests memorials be made to the charity of donor's choice.
