Brenda Carol Brooks

Ms. Brenda Carol Brooks, 59, died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Sunday in Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tony High officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00PM Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home. Brenda was born March 17, 1952, the only daughter of Polly Vaughn Brooks and the late B. David Brooks. She was the Senior Administrative Assistant for Anson County Emergency Medical Services, a licensed paramedic and had worked 24 years for the county. Survivors include her mother, Polly Brooks of the home; her children, David (Zana) Lambert, Holly (Kevin) Mullis, Jeffrey Lambert and Eric (Cheryl) Lambert all of Polkton; nine grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
