Brenda Foster

Mrs. Brenda Rice Foster, 74, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long period of declining health at her home in McFarlan, Anson County, North Carolina. Born and raised in Buncombe County, N.C., Brenda was the 5th of 8 children born to the Late Oliver and Ella Sue Franklin Rice. She leaves behind her husband and soulmate, William "Bill" Foster; her son, Michael W. (Karey Anne) Foster; her grandsons, Matthew Foster, Mark Foster and Luke Foster; Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Charles ( Jackie) Rice, Blaine (Gail) Rice and Doug (Penny) Rice, Betty Sue (Mark) Rice Crossley, Judy Rice Elderfield and Janie Rice Bowman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, James Rice. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Lincoln and his staff of Lincoln Family Medicine, as well as, the staff of Community Hospice Care for the excellent level of care and compassion provided to Brenda during her time of need. A memorial service and inurnment will be held at 2:00pm on June 20, 2018 at Oakdale Cemetery in Hendersonville, N.C. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Research Foundation 3152 Little Rd.
