Brenda Sims Mrs. Stegall

Peachland- Mrs. Brenda Sims Stegall, 66, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System Anson. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Hildreth Family Cemetery. Brenda was born January 6, 1949 in Union County, NC a daughter of the late Floyd Sims and Lydia Collins Sims Thomas. She had worked at Polkton Shirt Company and later at Walmart before retiring. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Jack Keith Stegall of home; her children, Lisa (Carl) Hildreth of Wadesboro, Brian (Melissa) Stegall of Jefferson, SC and Jason (Heather) Stegall of Marshville; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings, David Sims, Lonnie Sims, James Thomas and Shirley Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-grandchild, Benjamin Riley Weil. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
