Wadesboro - Mr. Bruce Gordon Harrington, Jr., 69, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Monday, August 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Dr. Kinney Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Monday. Bruce was born October 29, 1946 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Bruce Gordon Harrington and the late Mary Alice Maness Harrington. He was retired from Duff Norton (Coffing Hoists) with 30 years of service. Surviving are his son, Chris Harrington of Pageland, SC and his brothers and sister, Frank (Margaret) Harrington of Stanfield, Gary (Sheila) Harrington of Morven and Carol Murdock of Wadesboro and his special caregiver, Annette Sturdivant.
