WADESBORO - Mrs. Callie Lillie Hannah Hildreth, 83, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Whitlow officiating. Interment will follow in Hanna Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the Phillips home. Callie Lillie was born September 24, 1929 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Thomas Vance Hannah and the late Elsie Martha Ricketts Hannah. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of Fall Branch Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn (David) Poplin of Lilesville, and Reta Phillips and Jeannie Huntley both of Wadesboro; her sisters, Peggy Rogers of Charlotte and Sara Shipley of Estridge, KS and her grandchildren, Angie Poplin of Lilesville, Phillip (Emily) Poplin and Sara Phillips both of Polkton, Bert (Jamie) Phillips and Brown Huntley both of Wadesboro and Rosemary (Dano) Blalock of Norwood; and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Hildreth, by her son, Joel Stephen Hidreth and by her brothers and sister, Joe and Ralph Hannah and Tommie Sanford. Memorials may be made to Fall Branch Baptist Church, 2248 Ingram Mountain Rd., Lilesville, NC 28091. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
