Calvin Lee Mr. VanBuren

Wadesboro - Mr. Calvin Lee VanBuren, 58, died suddenly on Thursday, November 27, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be 5:00PM Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 4:00PM. Calvin was born November 16, 1956, in Hillsdale, Michigan, a son of David Heath Sr. and Marilyn Weesner and adopted by Daniel and Wilma VanBuren. He was employed with the Columbus-McKinnon Co., where he worked for the last 20 years. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Sandy Cagle VanBuren of the home; a son, Brandon (Megan) VanBuren of Hamlet, NC; three step-children, Melanie (Rob) Bostic of Ridgeway, SC, Danielle (Ashley) Hildreth of Lilesville, and Charlie (Samantha) Montgomery of Ft. Drum, NY; and 10 grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Jimmy (Rebecca) Boeding, Dave (Lisa) Heath, Lisa Boeding, Trina Heath, and Tracy VanBuren. One brother, Brad Boeding preceded him in death.
