ANSONVILLE - On Thursday, October 13, 2022, Mrs. Carol Eddins Biles, 68, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Union in Monroe
There will be a memorial service at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Clements officiating.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
Carol was born September 26, 1954 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late James Harold Eddins and the late Elizabeth Adams Eddins. She was a graduate of Bowman High School and had worked with the Anson County School System as a substitute teacher.
She was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time at home taking care of her cats and plants. She enjoyed trips to the beach and mountains and grew to love camping and surf fishing. She had a gift for decorating and kept things beautiful around her home during all seasons. She and her husband and son, were charter members of Coon Creek Fire Department in Ansonville.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, of almost 51 years, Danny Biles; her brother, Jamie Eddins of Pell City, AL; her brother-in-law, Frank Pope of Ansonville and her nephews, Jackson Eddins of Pell City, AL, Brent Pope (Jennifer) of Norwood and Tracy Pope of Conway, SC and her great-nephews and great-niece, Lofton, Lani and Levi Pope all of Norwood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Biles; her mother-in-law, Ruth Biles, her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy Ray and Arelene Hyatt and Ruth Ann Pope. and her niece, Jennifer Hyatt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Anson County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 828, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
