Carolyn Jane McCoy Mrs. Coble

The following obituary is placed on our website as a courtesy to the Coble family who have been long time residents of Wadesboro and Anson County. Huntersville - Carolyn Jane McCoy Coble, 69, of Huntersville, NC passed away Saturday February 21, 2015. She was born December 15, 1945 in Charlotte, NC to the late Ben McCoy and Frances Miller Wispert. Carolyn retired after working many years in the insurance business. She enjoyed reading, traveling, music and attending the local community concerts. Carolyn loved to spend time with her family, friends and insurance colleagues. She was a member of the Church of God in Charlotte. Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother Rebecca Miller and her Aunt Anne, as well as her much beloved grandparents Jesse and Nell McCoy who took her in and raised her as their own. She is survived by her loving family; husband, Johnnie Hill Coble, Sr.; son, Johnny Hill Coble, Jr. and his wife Robin; grandson, Jack Hill Coble, III; sister, Teresa Michel and her husband Joe; brother, Charles Wispert and his wife Angelica; Aunt Molly McCoy Cox and her husband Van; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday February 24, 2015 from 6-8pm at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 11 am at Independence Hill Baptist Church, Huntersville. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at the Bennett Cemetery, McRae Rd., Wadesboro, NC. Memorial contributions may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.
