Catherine Adams Brower

Wadesboro Mrs. Catherine Adams Brower, 72, died Sunday, December 10, 2017, while a patient at FirstHealth of Richmond. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00PM Wednesday at Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Yvonne Hechler officiating. The family will greet friends at Leavitt Funeral Home from 1:00PM to 1:45PM. Catherine was born in Morven, NC, on January 22, 1945. She was a daughter of the late Walter Legette Adams and Margaret Eddins Adams. She had worked for Hornwood, Inc. and also for Wansona, Inc. Following her textile work, she and her husband operated a small general store. Survivors include her brother, Carson Adams (Teresa) of Chesterfield, SC; a sister-in-law, Julie Jenkins (Lee) of Wadesboro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rogers Brower in 2005; and six brothers and sisters, Grady Ray Adams, Walter "Bill" Adams, Leatha Mae Cook, Faye Sellers, Kay Pratt, and Jill Quick. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Richmond County, 1119 US Hwy 1 North, Rockingham, NC 28379.
