Catherine Thompson Miss Watkins

FAYETTEVILLE - Miss Catherine Thompson Watkins, 86, of Fayetteville and formerly of Wadesboro, died Monday, October 27, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Services will be 1:00pm Thursday, October 30, 2014 by the graveside in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Catherine was born October 3, 1928 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Charles Crawford Watkins and the late Lena Thompson Booher Watkins. She was a graduate of Wadesboro High School and enjoyed the monthly luncheon reunions held in Wadesboro and retired as a Training Specialist at Ft. Bragg, NC. Surviving are her cousins and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 118 E. Morgan St., Wadesboro, NC 28170.
