Wadesboro - Cathie Darlene Sessions, 61, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare System Anson. Memorial services will be 2:00pm Friday, June 2, 2017 at Lilesville Baptist Church with Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm and other times at the home of her brother, Marc (Rhonda) Sessions on 205 Notthingham Way, Wadesboro. Cathie was born in Anson County, NC, a daughter of the late Paul Sessions, Jr., and Elizabeth: 'Lib' Horne Sessions. She worked as a LPN and was a faithful member of Lilesville Baptist Church where she was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. Surviving are her sons, Robert (Jennifer) Jones,Jr. of Monroe and Brandon Rowell of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Breyanna Jones of Wadesboro and LJ Guthrie and Mallorie Guthrie both of Monroe and her brothers, Rick (Connie) Sessions of Ocala, FL, Mike (Rhonda) Sessions of Rockingham and Marc (Rhonda) Sessions of Wadesboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lilesville Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box, 305, Lilesville, NC 28091. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
