Charles Albert Mr. Gomm, Sr

POLKTON - Mr. Charles Albert Gomm, Sr., 80, of Polkton and formerly of South Blue Hill, ME died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at his home. He was born February 9, 1933 in Blue Hill, ME a son of the late William E. and Gladys B. Ladd Gomm. He was a retired truck driver. Surviving are his wife, Winnifred Gray Gomm; his children, Carl Gomm of Blue Hill, ME, Dolly Gomm of Bucksport, ME, Judith Larry of Clifton, ME, Charles Gomm, Jr. of Polkton, NC, Amy Murphy and Earl Gomm both of Chester, SC, Karen Blenkhorn and Lance Gomm both of Bangor, ME; his brothers, Richard Gomm of Polkton, NC and Johnny Gomm of August, ME; 22 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated with no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
