Charles Edward Ratliff

WADESBORO – Mr. Charles Edward Ratliff, 59, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29, 2020 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC. Services for both Charles and his mother Betty will be 11:00am Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service. Charles was born October 13, 1961 in Anson County, NC and was the only son of Charles Albert Ratliff and Betty Griggs Ratliff. He was employed with Wade Manufacturing in Wadesboro and had worked for several years at Brown Creek Animal Hospital and Food Lion in Wadesboro. He attended Fall Branch Baptist Church in Lilesville. Left to cherish his memory are his aunts and uncles, Virginia (Claude) Vincent of Myrtle Beach, SC, Louise Dutton (Bobby Martin) of Ansonville, Lou Funderburke (Tim) of Peachland, Ken Eddins (Marlene) of Marshville, Ronnie Eddins (Carol) of Lexington, SC, Gloria Hagan of Enid, OK, Tim Ratliff (Rovetta), Henry Ratliff, Clinton Ratliff, and Bobby Ratliff (Linda) all of Cheraw, SC, Jerry Ratliff (Rebecca) of Charlotte and Becky Oliver of Ruby, SC and his cousins and their families. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Fall Branch Baptist Church, 2248 Ingram Mountain Rd., Lilesville, NC 28091. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
