WADESBORO - Mrs. Cynthia 'Cindy' McRae Brown, 52, died, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home. Services will be 2:00pm Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. A private interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends Friday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home and other times at the home. Cindy was born March 10, 1960 in Anson County, NC the only child of the late James and Lula Henry McRae. She had worked at Anson Shirt Factory in Wadesboro. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Brown of the home; her sons, Mitchell Hendrix of Indian Trail, Chris (Ashley) Sisk of Chesterfield, and Jackson Brown of the home; her granddaughter, Summer Sisk of Chesterfield; her step-daughters, Shannon Brown, Jamy (Bert) Phillips and Nicci Brown all of Wadesboro; 6 step-grandchildren and her aunt and uncle, Margaret and Calvin Burr of Wadesboro.
