WADESBORO-Mrs. Cynthia 'Cindy' Tarlton Cronk, 54, died Friday, September 27, 2013 at Hospice of Union County House in Monroe. Funeral services will be 4:00PM Sunday, September 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 3:00PM. Cindy was born in Duval County, Florida on April 15, 1959, a daughter of the late Robert Eugene Tarlton and Jane Lee Grim Tarlton. She had worked a number of years for Western Sizzlin and IGA. She loved cooking and making crafts. Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Jerry Cronk, of Wadesboro; her son, Charlie Sheppard and wife, Pam of Monroe; her sisters and brother, Barbara Jacobs of Wadesboro, Mary Lee Eddins and husband, Dewey of Wadesboro, Cathy Cowick of Morven and Robert Tarlton of Wadesboro. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Kriste Cowick, Kasey Tarlton, Scott Jacobs, Shawn Jacobs, Michael, Jacobs, Chris Eddins, Steven Eddins, Darrell Cowick, Robert Tarlton, Jr., and Kenny Rodgers; her special pet companion, Teardrop. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Dewey Jacobs and Darrell Cowick. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
