Connie Elaine McKenzie Ms. Eudy

PEACHLAND - Ms. Connie Elaine McKenzie Eudy, 50, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Memorial service will be 3:00pm Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Word of Life Church in Peachland. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Connie was born March 14, 1965 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Brooks Thomas McKenzie and the late Katie Lockler McKenzie. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Surviving are her daughters, April Eudy Baucom of Marshville and Ashley Lett of Peachland; her fiance', Benny Lett of Peachland; her brothers and sister, Rev. Tommy (Irene) McKenzie of Polkton, Jerry McKenzie of Monroe and Linda (Larry) Smith of Wadesboro and 8 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Ricky and Tony McKenzie, Lois Wright and Carolyn Lett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170 in an effort to assist the family with expenses.
