Miss Connie Ann Knotts, 39, of Wadesboro, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Anson Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Cathedral Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Swaringen and Rev. Jimmy Knotts officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at her mother's home.
She was born July 3, 1972, in Anson County, N.C., a daughter of Sandra McIntosh Knotts and James Thomas Knotts.
Connie was six years old and in the first grade when she was injured by an automobile on Christmas day, 1977. She lived for 33 years following the accident and the family rejoices that she is now at home with her Lord and her loving grandparents, Charlie and Irene McIntosh, Wilbert and Gladys Knotts and her aunt, Anna Sue Webb.
The family will be forever grateful to the staff at Anson Community Hospital for the exemplary care given Connie when she was cared both on the second floor skilled nursing department, and later in Lillie Bennett Nursing Center where she remained a resident until her death.
Surviving are her parents, Sandra Thomas of Wadesboro and Tommy Knotts of Lilesville; her sister and brother-in-law, Alisha and Kris Jackson of Wadesboro; her nephews, Kobe, Bryson and Landon; her aunts and uncles, Vickie and Randell Hunter of Wadesboro, Linda and John Powe of Creedmoor, Joan and Tony Puckett and Jean and Baxter Pratt, both of Lilesville; her cousins and their families.
