Mr. Danny Bill Smith, 61, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013, in Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 9, at Temple Israel located at 4901 Providence Road in Charlotte, NC. Danny Bill was born March 30, 1952, in Beaver Falls, PA, a son of Kathryn Tyson Smith and the late C. Raymond 'Ray' Smith. Survivors include his wife, Dr. Victoria Rommel of the home; a son, Sargon Smith of Islamorada, FL; his mother, Kathryn T. Smith; a sister, Connie (Ernie) Lambright of Plevna, MT; and two aunts, Lois (Buhl) Cummings of Athens, GA and Ruth (Vincent) Turner of Lima, OH.
