Darlene Edmonds Watts

            ROCKINGHAM – On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Mrs. Darlene Edmonds Watts, 63, passed away peacefully at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. 

            Darlene was born March 26, 1961, in Florence, SC, and was a daughter of the late Arthur Ray Edmonds and the late Frances Lucille Smith Edmonds. She was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School. 

            Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jacob Watts of Rockingham; her grandchildren, Skylar Watts, Justin Watts, and Jaslin Watts; her mother-in-law, Hollie Mae Watts of Rockingham; her sisters and brothers, Brenda Stogner of Rockingham, Gloria Faires of Hamlet, Danny (Tonja) Edmonds of Conway, SC and Michael (Loria) Edmonds of Bennettsville, SC; her sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Darrell) McDonald of Cordova, Tonya (Gregg) Baldwin of Rockingham and Tammy (Bubba) Kirkley or Hamlet and her nieces and nephews and their families. 

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas “Toby“Watts, III; her sons, Johnathan Watts and Stephen Watts and her brother, Arthur Ray Edmonds, Jr. 

            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Haven, 1119 N US HWY 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
