Darrel Von Beachum, 63,of Marshville, passed away March 14, 2025. He was born in Wadesboro, NC on June 17, 1961 to Doris Adams Beachum and the late Ned Von Beachum.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Hamilton Cross Roads Baptist Church, 6133 Old Goldmine Road, Marshville, NC 28103.

Following the service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm the family invites everyone to gather in the church Fellowship Hall for food and refreshments.

Darrel is preceded in death by his father, Ned Von Beachum; son, Adam Von Beachum; uncle, James Steven Thomas, and mother-in-law, Eleanor Thomas

He is survived by his mother, Doris Beachum, beloved wife, Darlene Beachum, children, Alexis Leasure (Patrick), Austin Beachum (Gabrelle Herrick), Ava Beachum, and Hannah Beachum; grandchildren, Kayden Beachum, Atlas Beachum, Xander Beachum, Mavric Beachum, Ellie Leasure, Noah Leasure, and Lucy Leasure; sister, Kimberly Robertson (Jeff), aunts and uncles, Rebecca Bullard, Ramona Miller (Bill); niece, Kate Parrish (Zach), cousins, Crystal Mets (Clark), and Trey Miller; sisters-in-law and their families, Denise Hathcock (Rob), and Debbie Horne (Tim); father-in-law, Roy Thomas. and special friends, Tom Campbell, Paul Deese, and Derek James.

In lieu of fresh flowers, the family requests that any arrangements sent in Darrel's honor be a piece that is replantable able for his memory garden.
