WADESBORO – Mr. David Eric Thomas, 48, died Monday, June 14, 2021. Eric was born September 5, 1972, in Anson County, NC and was the son of Frances Marsh and the late David Henry Thomas, III. He was a graduate of Anson High School and attended East Carolina University. He was the owner and operator of Thomas Total Home Repair. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Emily; his daughters, Madelynn, Jilliann and Lauren Thomas; his stepdaughter, Savannah Adams; his mother, Frances Marsh; his nephews, Timothy Bowers and Cage Rostad; his aunts and uncles, Patricia Marsh (Bruce) Thomas, Kay (Ken) Martin, Wayne Marsh, Patricia Crowell, Denise Pate, Faye Livengood and his cousins and their families. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Marie Thomas. Eric was a very talented man both with his work and in his home. He enjoyed creating unique artwork through drawing and painting. He was a great chef, a frequent poet, and he enjoyed dancing and practicing on his guitar. He loved music, spending time outdoors and in the water whenever possible. He was a great father to his kids, true to his friends and always the "life of the party"! Some of the last words he shared were..."I've been riding the breeze, it's time for the wind to get me to where I'm supposed to be"... RIP E.T. You were loved and will be missed by so many The family will have a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
