HAMLET - Mr. David Lawrence Williams, 52, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, July 28, 2014 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro with Rev. Travis Wilkerson and Rev. David Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in Peele's Chapel Church Cemetery in Laurel Hill. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the funeral home and other times at the home in Hamlet. David was born October 7, 1961 in Anson County, NC a son of Jean Ratliff Williams and the late Talmage Ashe Williams. He was a graduate of Anson High School and was an employee of CSX Railroad in Hamlet. Surviving are his wife, Pam Peele Williams of the home; his son, Chris Williams of Wadesboro; his mother, Jean Williams of Wadesboro; his sister, Freda Buchanan of Wadesboro; his step-children, Josh Zamparripa of Hamlet and Nina Vo of Gibson; his niece, Emily Buchanan of Wadesboro and grandchildren, Chloe, Branson, Michella, Sophia, Nathan and Hunter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 1971 E. Broad Ave., Rockingham, NC 28379. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
