WADESBORO Miss Catherine Denise Maree, 58, died Friday, April 6, 2018 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC. Funeral services will be 6:00pm Sunday, April 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with her cousin, Rev. LeGrand Kelly officiating. The visitation will be following the service. The interment will be at 11:00am Monday, April 9, 2018 at Anson Memorial Park. Denise was born February 2, 1960 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late James D. Maree and the late Mildred Johnson Maree. She was retired from Wade Manufacturing in Wadesboro. She is survived by her aunts and uncles, Rochelle Williams, Pauline (Brad) Pope, Arthur Johnson and Claude (Vivian) Maree all of Wadesboro, Thomas Maree and Allen (Chris) Maree both of Rockingham and Shirley Williams of Charlotte and her cousins and their families, which include, Rhonda (Mark) Treadaway, Robert (Natalie) Williams and Russell (Carol) Williams, whom she called her sister and brothers. A very special thank you to Betty Rogers and Kenny Williams, her neighbors and Dianne Welch who have been very kind and supportive of Denise and her parents over the years.
