Devin James Ratliff

WADESBORO - On Friday, September 13, 2024, Mr. Devin James Ratliff, 32,  passed away peacefully at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe, NC.

There will be a celebration of life service at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Marsh officiating. Inurnment will follow at Anson Memorial Park.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.

Devin was born November 13, 1991, in Stanly County, NC, and was a son of Caryln Dunn Cowick and James Ratliff. He worked as a welder with Davis Mechanical. 

He was a very gifted and talented man who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Those who are left to cherish his memory are his mother, Carlyn Cowick of Wadesboro; his father, James Ratliff of Polkton; his brother, Jamie Ratliff of Wadesboro; his aunts and uncles, Teah and John Kelly of Wadesboro and Chris and Denise Dunn of Polkton; his cousins and their families and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Steve Cowick who Devin loved and appreciated so much.

Devin's family is most grateful for the love and support shown to him during his time of declining health.
