Donald Albert Morgan

LILESVILLE - On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Mr. Donald Albert Morgan, 78, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Union in Monroe.

There will be a celebration of life service with military honors at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Johnson officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service at the church.

He was born September 8, 1944, in Guilford County, NC, and was a son of the late Roland Carlton Morgan and the late Anna Mae Smith Morgan. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had worked with Wilco Hess, now, Servco in Wadesboro. He was a member of East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Teresa McKay Morgan; his children, Amber Morgan (Carlos Hernandez) of Wadesboro and Erica Maxwell (Montel) of Lilesville; his grandchildren, Gabriella Burns, Kayden Morgan, and Montel Maxwell, Jr.; his sisters, Cathy Morgan of Browns Summit, Sylvia Morgan of Greensboro and Carol Morgan of Wilson; his brother-in-law, Ernie McKay of Greensboro and his nephews, Eli Howle, Jr. of Browns Summit and Joshua McKay of Greensboro.
