Donald Edward Treadaway

WADESBORO Mr. Donald Edward "Don" Treadaway, 89, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Don was born February 25, 1929 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Walter Edward "Doc" Treadaway and the late Fannie Head Treadaway. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Lilesville and had worked for both CMC Building Supply and H.W. Little Hardware. Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Marguerite Jordan Treadaway; his sons, Barry (Gertrude) Treadaway of Clio, SC, Steve (Jean) Treadaway of Patrick, SC and Ritchie (Lisa) Treadaway of Peachland; his grandchildren, Kevin (Scoot) Treadaway of Clio, SC, Crystal (Larry) Springs of Belnheim, SC, Scotty (Nicole) Treadaway of Tega Cay, SC, Ian Webber of Rexburg, ID, Nick Treadaway of Peachland and Nicole Treadaway of Wadesboro; his great-grandchildren, Austin, Brittany, Colt, Larah, Madalyn, Brayden, DMetri, Dakota, Jasmine and Heavenly; his great-great-grandchildren, JaLynn and Waylon; and his brother and sisters, Bruce Treadaway of Ft. Mill, SC, Lois (H.C.) Thomas of Charlotte and Myra McRae of Rockingham.
