Doris Tarlton Mrs. Jarrell

WADEBORO - Mrs. Doris Tarlton Jarrell, 55, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Griffin Cemetery in Polkton. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday and other times at the home of her son. Doris was born November 17, 1959 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late John Wesley Tarlton and the late Hallie Phillips Tarlton. She had worked as a book keeper and breeding Jack Russel Terriers and Miniature Doberman Pinschers. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bud and Emily Jarrell of Wadesboro; her brothers and sisters, Johnny Tarlton,Jr. of Polkton, Ann Coakley of Norwood, Frankie Tarlton and Peggy Burr both of Wadesboro and Brenda Logan of Hartsville, SC and her nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Tim and Frances Tarlton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of the donor's choice.
