LILESVILLE - Mr. Douglas Ralph Morris, Sr., 72, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at his home. Doug was born January 3, 1941 in Radford, VA a son of the late Franklin Clive and Sarah Saul Morris. He retired as a long distance truck driver and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Rebecca 'Becky' Clark Morris of the home; his sons, Doug Morris, Jr. of Floyd, VA and Mark Thomas, Jr. of Wadesboro; 5 grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Nelline Clark of Wadesboro; his brother-in-law, Bill Clark of Wadesboro and his special canine companion, Max A Million Morris.
