GREENSBORO - Mrs. Edith Odom Colin, 90, of Greensboro and formerly of Wadesboro, died Monday, April 9, 2012 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. Services will be 2:00pm Thursday, April 12, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Weekley officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Edith was born January 4, 1922 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late Luther Lemuel Odom and Minnie Allred Odom. She was retired from Smith Furniture and Gifts and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Earl E. Colin and her sisters, Barbara Odom Jensen of Ft. Myers, FL and Jessie Odom Craven of Walterboro, SC and her nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings including William Harry Odom and L.L. Odom who were of Wadesboro. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
