WADESBORO Mrs. Edna Dutton Jarman, 87, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, August 10, 2018 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Knotts officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
Edna was born March 21, 1931 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Floyd Dutton and the late Gladys Leonard Dutton. She was retired from West Knitting Mills and owned and operated Jarmans Store in Wadesboro with her late husband, Harold. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her grandsons, Micah Tyson and wife, Paige of Monroe and Morgan Tyson and fiance, Katie Puckett of Peachland; her son-in-law, Kenneth Tyson and wife, Wanda of Peachland and her great-grandchildren, Makenna, Kaela, Ameila, Lucy and Emmett Tyson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Alton Jarman, her daughter, Jean Jarman Tyson and her brothers and sister, Leonard Dutton, Floyd Dutton, George Dutton and Lavenia Hightower.
