Edward Jasper Red Mr. Eddins

WADESBORO - Mr. Edward Jasper 'Red' Eddins, 85, died Monday, April 16, 2012 in Anson Community Hospital. Services will be 11:00am Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Bye officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service a the funeral home. Red was born May 6, 1926 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Jasper and Grace Irene Griggs Eddins. He was a retired agent with Jefferson-Standard Life Insurance Company, a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vidas Diggs Eddins. Surviving are his nieces and nephews and their families. Memorials may be made at the discretion of the donor.
