Edward Gray Mr. Harrington

Polkton - Mr. Edward Gray Harrington, 90, died Saturday, March 30, 2012, in the Lillie Bennett Nursing Facility. Graveside services will be 11:00AM Tuesday in Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Knotts officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Ed was born in Anson County on December 22, 1922, a son of the late William Ellis and Willie Hasty Harrington. He was married to the late Fannie Howard Harrington and was retired from Little Cotton Mfg. and farming. Survivors include his only daughter, Mary H. Russell and one grandson, John Edward Russell both of the home; a brother and three sisters, Frank Harrington, Peggy (Tom) Edwards, Shirley (Robert) Pigg all of Charlotte and Betty Rose Taylor of Wadesboro.
