Effie Nell Miss Williams

WADESBORO - Ms. Effie Nell Williams was born September 12, 1941 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Robert and Susie Lee Williams. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Richmond County Hospice Haven in Rockingham. She was a member of Greater St. Mark Church in Wadesboro, a graduate of J.R. Faison School and was retired from Anson Community Hospital in housekeeping. Surviving are her children, Effie Henry and Randy Williams both of Wadesboro, NC; her grandchildren, Timothy Williams, Charles Rue, Shanika Rue and Shakima (Marco) Ratliff all of Wadesboro, NC, Jacqueline Williams of Rockingham and Damion Williams and Edward Rue (Tenshia) Hick both of New York; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; her sisters and brother, Pearline Williams of Florida, Leona Williams of Wadesboro, NC and Melvin (Estelle) Williams of Philadelphia and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters and brother, Mary Black, Dollie Rivers and Sylvester Williams. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Monday, August 26, 2013 at Greater St. Mark with Bishop Leonard Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
