Elizabeth Sis Miss Grant

WADESBORO - Miss Ruby Elizabeth 'Sis' Grant, 86, died Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Lillie Bennett Nursing Center. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, August 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. 'Sis' was born August 31, 1925 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late James Robert Grant and Flossie Price Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David Warren Grant and Billy Grant. She was retired from Little Cotton Manufacturing and was the last person who lived in one of the homes provided by the Little Family and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her gentle and humble spirit and her loving endearing friendship. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
