Ella Elaine Stanback Liles

WADESBORO - Mrs. Ella Elaine Stanback Liles was born March 16, 1969 in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late Daniel and Bernice Stanback. She departed her life on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro, NC. 

Ella was educated in the public schools of Anson County and she enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, beach trips, and reading the Bible. 

She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Stanback and Elvis Stanback. 

Ella Elaine leaves to cherish her loving memories: six daughters, Markeeta Stanback of Rockingham, NC, Marineeta Stanback, Reosha Stanback, Peloria Liles and Areeba Liles all of Wadesboro, NC and Kesa Liles of Lilesville, NC; and their father, Anthony Liles of Wadesboro, NC; three brothers, Bruce Stanback and Daniel “Poboy” Stanback both of Wadesboro, NC and Tony (Lakesha) Stanback of Lilesville, NC; three sisters, Lisa Stanback of Wadesboro, NC, Latoya (Chris) McNeil of Morven, NC and Lashonda Lilly of High Point, NC; one step-son, Paul Covington, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren, Za’Quez, Jordan, Di’John, Kanyah, Di’Mazziah, Derion, Kazyriah, Kenston, Dii’Mond, Di’Chon, Londyn, Iyania, and Jordyn; special niece, Jamayah (Ma’Lani) Stanback; special nephew, Zaekwon (Ja’Zaria) McNeil; special relatives and friends, Ursula Melton, Tokishi Boggan, Robin Diggs, Yolonda Cash and Tina “Kush” Wall.  

She also leaves her wonderful memories to a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home.

Public viewing will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the funeral home

The family is gathering at the home of her daughter on Country Club Road in Wadesboro.
